Today was a nice mix of exhilaration and relation. We started early in the morning by driving the boat to the Baths at 6! But the early rise was worth it as we spent an hour and a half jumping off rocks and exploring the maze of balancing rocks- I’m sure by the end, we all had a special appreciation for the rocks. After that, we arrived at Spanishtown to have some free time and lunch, a nice break from our life onboard so far. One of our shipmates, Clay, even had some fun in a local apparel shop and tried some very… interesting styles with a hat, large shirt, and a very stylish skirt. The remaining afternoon was spent honing our sailing skills, and I can already feel our teamwork getting smoother! At night, Nathan dropped by, and we all tried to get him to say ”Texas”- maybe some of us tried too hard… But we succeeded!! 🙂 All in all, it was another great day onboard (and off-board!) packed full of events. Lesson learned: never say ”over and out” on the VHF.
