Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
We woke up to the song from Titanic “My Heart Will Go On.” Then we ate a cereal breakfast and quickly prepared ourselves for the navigation dive. Once we arrived, we did an enjoyable back-roll entry. We had to swim 100 ft while counting our kick cycles. Then we swam with a partner 50 ft in a given direction. I looked at the compass while Ada counted the kick cycles. Then we made a 50ft square, but some of us started to drift with the current. We all surfaced, and we went to our next activity! We learned how to tie knots and then did knot tying relays ( the girls came in 1st ). Then we went waterskiing, wakeboarding, and kneeboarding. Ada bossed the wakeboarding and I had a lot of fun water skiing. We had a delicious chicken salad (made by Kelly). We then went to Breakaway to do coral conservation with Jordan. Then we went windsurfing, and I think all of us went very far and had to be rescued. We came back to the boat and took fresh water showers while I did a workout swim with Kelly and we saw a remora (cleaning the boat). Now we are getting ready to go to the barbecue!
