Location: South Bay, Peter Island
Today’s early start was a shock to the systems of most boat members, except for Teddy, who happily woke at 5 am. We then proceeded with a delicious breakfast of Cheerios and Chex. After breakfast, we docked and refilled our water tanks. Then spent time bonding through a game of BS, which was won by Chloe. Cards were cut short when we set sail for Great Harbor Peter. After a 3-hour trip, we arrived and changed into our bathing suits for our swim test. The swim test consisted of 6 laps around the boat and 10 minutes of treading water. After our swim test, we went on our FIRST DIVE! Re showed us all his BCDs and how they work. We then split into two groups and jumped in the water. The dive was a little cold, but overall super fun. We did a refresher on basic skills, such as clearing our masks and becoming neutrally buoyant. After we finished our dive, we had our first ocean shower, which resulted in the freshwater hose breaking. We then had sloppy joes for dinner, which were made by Logan and James. We cleaned up the boat and took a diver review quiz. Then we all went off to bed.
