I truly cannot believe we are nearing the end of our voyage! Two boats and nearly three weeks later, the crew of Tiger Storm has gone from complete strangers to a tight-knit family. Patrick, Linda and I are so lucky that we received such wonderful shipmates. Josie motivated the entire crew and always lent a hand when she noticed there was work to do. Ella N. connected with everyone on the boat and loved to talk to us all. The dynamic duo cousins Carmela and Alexis kept us all entertained with their stories of their lives at the fair. Ella F.’s cool laid back disposition calmed the others down and she too never failed to spring into action when something dropped overboard.India taught the shipmates some Italian and handled the helm like a pro ” LaSchola della Vela trained her well for AQ! The other resident Carina, Nelson, always itched to take the helm and was very eager to help his staff members while underway. One of Jack’s talents was to find a place to sleep anywhere on the boat and Iker kept us laughing with his jokes and incredibly realistic animal noises. And last but not least, Ben- he was the MasterChef. Without him none of us would be here! I could not have asked for a better group of shipmates for my first session as staff, and every single one of them will hold a special place in my heart. I’m very sad to see them go and hope to see them again next year.
