And just like that, our time on board Calypso has come to an end. What an amazing three weeks of sailing, diving and adventure! Our crew is now full of certified Open Water and Advanced Open Water divers, as well as beginner sailors and flotilla skippers. Most importantly, the crew has become a well-oiled machine and a family, and each shipmate offers so much to this team. Megan and Maddi keep the smiles on our faces while Kade and Sebastian keep us laughing uncontrollably. We’ve all learned so much from Spencer’s fun facts and the bits of random knowledge he throws out. Margaux continues to impress us with her power over the helm, while Laetitia’s waterkiing skills still shock and amaze us. Alex and Roberto have managed to sail Calypso like professionals. David’s work ethic is so admirable and his sailing skills are also very impressive. Nicole is everyone’s biggest supporter; she always lends a helping hand or a word of encouragement where needed. The boat’s ball of sunshine, Christine, radiates happiness and positivity and keeps us all going, even at the end of our longest days. It has been truly incredible watching this group of strangers grow as individuals and as a crew. David, Alex and I will miss them all very much!
