Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
We woke up early to get a head start in the day and head to the Baths. The Baths are a super cool area filled with a ton of smooth and big rock formations. We all climbed through them, going down ladders and stairs and using ropes to get around because it was really slippery everywhere. Once we were climbing through the rocks for a while, we ended up at this cliff overlooking the water, and everyone got to jump off it, which was super fun. After everyone jumped a few times, we went to the beach, where Koko, Mac, and I were looking at all the fish in the water. Because we started this so early in the morning, we started sailing to Spanish Town, where Ava helped to throw in the lines and dock the boat. Everyone went to lunch and a restaurant which was really good. After lunch, everyone explored Spanish land. We all got back to the boat, and Patrick, Louise, and Koko brought back snacks to keep on the boat. We started sailing back to where we were anchored this morning and Peyton and Emily helped to put up the sails, along with Patrick and Aleks. Henry drove the boat for a while as well. Because of our Hibiclense shower after the Baths, we couldn’t go swimming this afternoon, so Niko, Alex, Holly, and the others all hung out on the nets at the front of the boat until dinner, and Koko and Emily made the BEST peppers to go with the chili. We are finishing the day with a sailing talk. Good day!
