Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today was day 2. We woke up at 7 AM, and we had cereal with milk for breakfast. After we had breakfast, we went to the store for a couple of minutes to get snacks before the meeting. The meeting was an introduction for all students at the camp, and we went over the basics before we set sail. Before we set sail, we got our life jackets fitted and then headed to the Caves, where we did our swim test before we snorkeled. During snorkeling, we saw several different fish species, including a parrot fish, then went into a cave. On the way to the Caves, Emily and Carson sat on the trampoline and got splashed by water. Later we ate lunch, and Luke, Drake, Piper, and Claire did the dishes Eli and Nati cleaned the aft deck, and Johnluca wiped the counter. Then we took our first saltwater shower, where we soaped and jumped off the back of the boat, then did a quick fresh water rinse and tried to learn to backflip. After that, it stormed, so we did our first scuba video. For dinner, Greyson and Junius cooked Sloppy Joe’s, and the same people did the dishes and cleaned.
