Location: Anegada
Hi everyone! It’s Coco here, taking over as skipper! Our morning started off with a later morning, around 7. For breakfast, we were delighted with Heloise and Annabelle’s delicious French toast and joined by the wonderful photographer, Dave, who has been in 2 Star Wars movies as a stormtrooper!
We then set sail to Anegada (about a 2-hour ride) for an afternoon of snorkeling their many reefs! Fun fact: Anegada is only 23 ft tall, so it’s not an island you can see from afar. These reefs were beautiful, and we spotted many different creatures. Annabelle encountered a pufferfish and a sea turtle, Maya saw a hermit crab with a big yellow shell, and of course, we all saw lots of fish (my favorite were these larger rainbow ones, not sure of the name….I’ll get back to you on that one!). After Dave took amazing videos and photos of us and the reefs, he swapped his diving gear with Heloise so that she could get a piece of the action! Anyway, we all struggled to climb onto the dinghies and headed back to Hagan Time! We motored over to Savannah Bay from Anegada, about 2 hours, where pretty much everyone (Bella, Lia, Amelia, Maya, Ella, and I) took much-needed naps..we’re still adjusting to island time, these long days in the sun have been kicking our butts.
At some point in the day, the generator felt the same way and gave out. Riley had been spending quite a while trying to fix it, which involved dumping out loads of “caca water” (his words, not mine). For dinner, we had chicken Caesar salad (an all-time favorite), risotto, and corn. After dinner, we moved quickly to clean up and ocean shower (where we received our clean fresh water towels, yay!!) so we could finish the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie and enjoy Bella’s brownies once again!! Good night!
