Location: Marina Cay
We started our morning bright and early to find multiple people covered with limes. The previous night, we had rafted with all of the other dive side boats, and they decided to play a prank on us. We proceeded to stash away all of the limes and start our day. Megan, Mason, and I helped untie the mooring line so we could start the 2-hour sail into Moorings Bay, Rhode Town. Once we arrived in town, everyone split off in different directions. There were a lot of fantastic little shops and places to eat, but the main few everyone gathered around were the French deli, the coffee shop, and a panini shop. All of the shops were delicious, and after everyone had some time to eat some lunch, we gathered back on the boat. We then set sail for Ginger Island (Will’s Island) for our next dive. During our multiple-hour rides, we played spades, took naps, and got very seasick. Despite our struggles with sea sickness and very large waves, we made it to Ginger Island. We set up on a mooring ball and got our gear ready for a dive. We all hopped in the water and descended to about 25 feet. While descending, Parker, Katie, Maya, Kyler, and I all saw a small southern stingray. We also saw a couple of lobsters, some bicolor damselfish, fairy basslets, and Black Durgon.
