Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today, I’m pretty sure we woke up rather late, which, personally, I was very much a fan of. We ate breakfast, which consisted of fruit, cereal, and oatmeal. We headed over to Cooper Island, where we did our fun dive of the day! It was two wrecks, basically, and it was really deep. After this, we started lunch, which was mac and cheese, and little do you know, Megan (a staff member) came up to our boat in the water for another scenario. Lilly immediately got in the water to help. JJ and I went up to the roof to look for bubbles. Once Megan was out of the water, Asa and Shane started asking questions. Gabi and Tatum went to search by snorkel and they found all three divers. Ellery called EMS, and Asa, Lilly, Riley, and Wiley all went in scuba to find the missing divers. When they got one up, Ellery and I tended to him while Lila and Logan were inside dealing with Megan. They got the unconscious divers aboard and began giving them CPR and emergency oxygen. Tommy, Ri, and Rachel then told us the scenario was over. We debriefed, and the staff told us we did very well, so that was nice. We then finished eating lunch and doing cleanup to be able to begin the exams. Lilly wanted me to say that she made a 100 on her rescue exam and was super happy about it. We all are certified rescue divers and EFR!!! We are doing a massive mega raft with all of the dive side and the Minerva boats because they just got back to the fleet. We are about to shower, and later, we plan to bake a massive cake as a celebration of our accomplishments! YAYAY 🎂😆🕺!
