Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
Today I woke up to James making French toast. Shout out to James. After Sally and Ozzie cleaned up breakfast, we all chilled and waited for our staff to get back from a staff meeting. It was really hot today, and I think we were all having heat strokes, so it was really nice when we jumped in the water for our last search and recovery dive. Me and my buddy Jayden did not find the missing weight. What an L. I need a new buddy, tbh. When we got back up to the surface, Laniey was cheffing up some chicken salad wraps. It was prob my favorite meal so far. After we cleaned up lunch KK, Daisy, and I all tanned on the hardtop.
We all gathered in the cockpit about an hour later for a briefing on emergency O2. Then we all heard a scream coming from the water. Our first rescue scenario was starting. We had to jump in the water and save a panicked diver and two unresponsive divers. We had assigned jobs earlier in the day so that our scenario went smoothly. Sally, Daisy and Laney, and Anzie were our rescue divers. Jayden was our free diver, Teddy and James needed to calm the panicked diver, Eddie raised the dive flag, KK kept eyes on the unresponsive diver, Ozzie and Josh performed CPR, and I was the timekeeper. Even tho we had some mistakes. It ran pretty smoothly. Once we debriefed the scenario, we all went to the beach and hung out with some other boats. We headed back to Event Horizon and started cooking up freak and beans. Mmmm. Today was a solid day.
