Location: Wells Bay, Saba
Even after a highly eventful first passage, we were ready for our first full day in the Leeward Islands. On the island of Saba there are so many amazing things to be done and to be seen, so we split into two groups. One venturing into the beautiful island while the other explored the vastly different sea life Saba has to offer. In the diving group, a whole array of animals and coral were seen from reef sharks to sting ray’s; there was everything. Then after two very successful dives with very nice and helpful locals, we took a road through the high volcanic mountains to a small glass blowing shop. There we were greeted by an artsy glass maker and her two dogs who brought us through the process of making glass. From there we headed back to the boat and couldn’t wait for another beautiful day in the Leeward Islands.
