Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
What’s up, everyone? It’s Bea, your skipper for the day. Today, we woke up after a long but fun night barbecuing with the whole of ActionQuest. Right off the bat, we set sail to head to our spot for the day. We had a great breakfast with oatmeal and fresh melon, which was the perfect meal to power ourselves for the exciting day ahead. Rotation day!!! We started rotation day today with zesting, which often ends in a whole lot of capsized zests, but it’s always a ton of fun. The next stop was a quick dinghy ride to another boat in our fleet, Avizia. Here, we used some of the paddle boards, whether it be for tanning, sleeping, or just jumping off. We then got picked up by dinghies to take us to the dive boat of our fleet, Highlander.
Here, we snorkeled in the mangroves led by Toby, and we all saw a ton of moon jellies and even a turtle. We spent the rest of our time chilling on Highlander, lying in the hot sun of the BVIs. Next stop, lunch! We were taken back to our boat for a quick meal before some of us went to do water sports. While some people were ripping it up on the knee boards or wakeboards, friends of ours from Avizia came around for a couple of hours of hanging out on the top deck. And just like that, we were sailing to our spot for the night, and we had a great night, which ended in an important dive chat. Sending love to my family and friends. Goodnight from Shamwari!!!
