As the day started, everyone arose from their beds and hammocks, ready to experience an eventful day. As we were getting up breakfast, it was also being set out by the day’s chefs. We quickly ate the oatmeal and then got ready for our dive chats. Pierce, Dillon, Matilda, Emi, Augustine, Harper, and Emma were learning about the RDP table while the advanced divers were scheduled to do a cool dive on the other side of the island. I was one of the advanced divers, so I got to go on the dive. On the dive, Wyatt, Elliot, Justin, and Danial swam through a dense coral reef featuring a wide variety of fish. Once the dive was finished, we had a rotation day and all of the crew got to experience paddle boarding, zesting (sailing mini sail boats), water skiing, and dinghy driving. After the paddleboarding, we also had some deli sandwiches for lunch to refuel us for the rest of the rotations. After all of the rotations, we tidied up the boat and set out for the anchorage spot for the barbecue. Other than the rotations, the barbecue was one of the main events planned for the day. During the barbecue, we were served pasta burgers and hot dogs accompanied by a variety of drinks. As we enjoyed the food, DJ Heavy Beats played some awesome music to inject the party with energy. At ten O’clock, when the barbecue was over, everyone took the dinghies back to the boats where we all lay down and crashed as we had just finished navigating a long, eventful, and fun day.
