Hiii everyone, it’s Stormy!! Today was an exciting day here at Action Quest because it was Rhone day!! This morning we woke up rafted to the rescue boat, Why Knot, where we enjoyed some breakfast before sailing to our dive site: The Rhone! We learned about the history of the ship and the tragic way it crashed, and then, it was time to dive it! During our dive, we swam through and inside the wreck, seeing an abundance of coral and fish. We saw a sting ray with no barbs, some big pufferfish, Alden, and a few others saw a barracuda, and I saw a bunch of my favorites: squirrelfish! After our dive, we got to hike the island where, over a century ago, the locals pulled hundreds of bodies from the Rhone Wreck. On our hike, we enjoyed some killer views, and Griffin climbed a coconut tree and brought a coconut back to our boat. After our hike, we sailed back to GHP, during which the boat took a long group nap. Once we arrived, we snorkeled our dive site for tonight. We saw some big sea cucumbers and lots of sea urchins. Back on our boat, we enjoyed Mexican night for dinner cooked by Rome and Maxime, and we were joined by a special guest: Jake, the “chief happiness director.” As I write this, we are cleaning up dinner and getting ready for our night dive, which we get to navigate all on our own! Wish us luck! Until next time, good night. Much loveee! Miss all of you guys at home. Love y’all more than ice cream.
