Location: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola

Hello, It’s Alanna! It is day 14 aboard PJ3. Today, we woke up to some nice Disney music. We had oatmeal and cereal for breakfast. Then, we sailed to our first dive spot of the day. The dive was called “Shark Point.” I sat this dive out due to feeling a little under the weather, but I heard that they didn’t see any sharks, but the reef was beautiful. We then sailed to Cane Garden Bay to fill up on water and get some snacks and drinks from a gas station. Then we were on the way to our second dive of the day: “The Pinnacles.” Before the dive, Kellen and Henry cooked up some delish Quesadillas, and everyone loved them. Then Charley, Henry, Riley, Cahan, Lilly, and Mat went on a dingy to have some fun with water sports! For this dive, we had to take a dingy to the dive site. Lilly fell trying to get on the dinghy, and we all laughed together (she was ok).

I felt good enough to go on this dive, and it was very beautiful with lots of levels. Though Riley, Cahan, Aria, and I were in Gordan’s group and got lost due to the strong current. Once all back on the boat, we took showers and chilled out until dinner time. We had Thai Red Curry. Since I’m not writing this before bed we still may either watch a movie (most likely The Princess Bride), or do “Life Works” and figure out what color we are biased on our personality. Either would be fun, but personally, I wanna watch The Princess Bride. It makes me miss home, tho, especially my mom. With only one week left, we are all a mix of happy and sad that our time here in the beautiful BVI’s is coming to an end. But we are going to continue to have so much fun and create great memories.
(To my mom: Your the best mom in the whole ever, I miss you so much. Please tell Ender that I hope he had a great birthday! Miss you both so much!).

Your Skipper of the day, Alanna P.
