Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today started off different than expected. We spent the night in Marina Cay and much of the morning as well due to all the rain. Because of this rain, we weren’t able to move for a few hours. During this, the Vegas began their sail and dive chats while the divemasters did a dive chat and learned about basic divemaster procedures. After lunch we motored over to Savanna Bay. Once we arrived we anchored and the DMs set up dive gear while the Vegas got ready to snorkel. While on their snorkel they saw a stingray. The divemasters went down for their first training dive. Down below we swam through hoops to work on buoyancy, demonstrated to Andy our dive instructor, how to find our regulators if they fall out of our mouths and how to clear our masks if they are full of water. All in all it was another great day here in the BVI and I, for one, can’t wait for more to come.
