Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Hi guys, today we started the day by fueling up with some yummy oatmeal. Then, Skyler and I went to the morning skipper meeting to get info regarding the A.M. race from Sandy Key to the West End. After planning out the race, we raised our sails and began. We traveled in a straight line to the West End. I helmed, and we came in second place. After docking, we ventured into the West End to eat lunch and stock up on snacks at the grocery store. Amelia, Ada, and I made funny memories as I fell on the floor in line to check out, and Amelia got flung after putting her whole body weight into opening a stubborn freezer door. Adrien and River socialized with shippies from other boats. Then at 12:30, Skyler and I made our way to the afternoon skipper meeting to chart out the second race from the West End to Great Harbour. The sail consisted of tacking back and forth in order to zigzag our way there. It began to rain, and we all bundled up in rain jackets to stay protected. Amelia killed it on the helm the whole way there and carried us to first place. Yay!!!! Then we all took ocean showers and got ready for dinne,r which was chilli and rice.
