Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

Today the squad woke up for an early morning fun dive! It was a super cool wreck that we got to penetrate, which was awesome, and before it, we had oatmeal and cantaloupe for breakfast. There was a barracuda lurking under the wreck that spooked all of us on the swim around. Lila and I explored the rooms inside the ship and saw a toilet we thought was pretty funny before we ascended. Following this, we waited for the tanks to be filled while we sailed to our next fun dive at a coral reef, where we led our own dive and got to choose where to explore. During that sail, we all were convinced a surprise scenario was going to happen and were paranoid the entire day, only to be wrong. Avi and Player saw two lionfish, and Lila completed a skill dive to catch up on what she had missed when she couldn’t dive. Ethan and Amelia made Tuscan white bean soup and chicken salad for lunch, which hit since we were all pretty starved after our two early morning dives. We then took a lazy sail back to GHP, which most of us studied for the first hour, and then all fell asleep. Once we arrived, Lila completed her rescue exercises 7 and 8 while the rest of us chilled and swam or did some water sports. We then showered (with a lot of tackling each other into the water) and rafted next to Soul Rebel. For dinner, Ethan and Cole made us breakfast for dinner which was some beans, eggs, sausage, and biscuits that everyone scarfed down. After our nightly squeeze, we’re now doing dishes and preparing to take our EFR and Rescue certification tests. Today was pretty awesome, and I’m sure tomorrow will be even better!
