Location: Sommer's Beach, Tortola
Today was a packed full day; we started off by learning boat systems with Margaux. Then our next rotation was water sports. I went kneeboarding with Mariah, Salya, and Catherine. We had a ton of fun and definitely had some good wipeouts that resulted in a lot of laughs. Luke, Gianna, Hugh, and Leuck also did water sports today. Luke finally dropped a ski and stayed up on one for 10 seconds. Gianna and Leuck got up on the wakeboard for the first time!!! After lunch, everyone went on a very cool dive. Unfortunately, I was having some issues equalizing, but I do not get to go on two dives tomorrow, which is making me very excited. The last activity of the day was learning how to make the AQ bracelets, which are called Turk’s heads, it was difficult, but we all managed to do it in the end. We ended the night off with a beach BBQ with all of the other AQ boats. While there, the boys played football, Emerson and Sean found some cool rocks to climb on, Tristan and Talia found some massive tarpon, and Hugh caught up with his friend Eric from a different boat. Today was overall a great day for everyone on the boat.
