Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today was one of the best days so far! We were up on the earlier side, scarfed down bowls of cereal, threw on bathing suits and sunscreen, and jumped on the dinghies to be motored over to the beach on Savanna Bay. On the beach we were put in groups of four for our first confined scuba dive lesson. After watching multiple scuba simulation video we were prepared to put on our gear and get underwater, courtesy of Charlotte’s incredible teaching. Following many complicated scuba skill lessons, we returned to our home for this voyage, Sans Souci to hang out on deck as PB and J sandwiches were prepared for lunch. Soon after lunch concluded we boarded the ActionQuest special motor boats for our first waterski and kneeboard adventures. Later we windsurfed which was followed by a special occasion dinner with ActionQuest director Mike where beef and pasta was served with garlic bread. The squeeze question for tonight was “If you were to meet one person dead or alive who would it be?”. Answers used from family members, Winston Churchill, and even mine Kanye West. We later explained positive and negative things about ourselves through images Mike brought for us. Overall today was packed with many activities. Filled with countless smiles and laughs. Tomorrow we will wake up excited to eat french toast for breakfast.
