Location: Savannah Bay, Virgin Gorda

Hey families!
Checking in again from the Good Times boat! All of us dolphins sleeping outside were awoken by two different rain showers, so we started off our morning a little later, around 7:30. For breakfast, we had bagels and eggs before hopping on a dingy to the Savannah Bay beach, where we met up with the other Dolphin and Neptune boats. There, we had a quick briefing on navigational diving and practiced using compasses on the beach. We then set off on a 30-minute hike across the island, paying special attention to the direction of the wind and current. Afterward, we headed back to Good Times, where we had chicken and tofu wraps for lunch before boarding the other Dolphin boat, Forever for Now. We completed a navigational dive which ended in Mia and I almost getting lost! After successfully completing our navigational dive we began brainstorming topics for the topic of our research projects. We ended the day with a chili dinner and ocean shower, and we began the bookwork for our night dive certification. That’s all for now!
I’m super excited for it not to rain tonight so we can all finally sleep through the night!
