The morning began incredibly loud, with us getting pranked by Beso and Avisia. They came onto our boat and woke us up at about 3 AM. After eating some bagels and yogurt, not together, which was graciously served by Nate and Ani. Since today was a rotation day, we went zesting, it wasn’t zesty though, but me and Ada almost bumped into a boat (sorry to whoever owned it!) We swerved at the last second and hit their dingy. Instead, we decided it would be best to go back and get towed back. After that…incident, we went skiing, I didn’t, I sat out, but from other peoples reports, it was really fun. After my delightful slumber, we had lunch. It was deli sandwiches. It was pretty tasty. After that delectable time, we were supposed to go hiking, instead we had a break because the trail was thorny and overgrown. I read and wrote a letter to my mum (hi mum, I know you read these). Timeskip about 2 hours, more or less, we went diving! I had to make up some things because I couldn’t equalize. After we got out of the water and put all our stuff away, we had ocean showers and ate dinner. It was Mexican night; I originally thought it would be nasty, like the chili and rice (I can say that I cooked it), but it was actually really good, probably because a counselor made it. Tonight, we had a makeup competition with the boys on our boat as models. Some interesting things happened… Overall, I had a super duper great time being skipper, can’t wait to be it again!
