Location: Trellis Bay
Good morning, sleepy heads! Today is the 12th day of our BVI summer camp. After an absolutely exquisite sleep, we were woken up by Joey and his island tunes. However, Blake went back to sleep after making some awesome pancakes with Malika. By the way, Malika said that the pancakes were great.
Following breakfast, we sailed to shore to stock up on a few snacks. I have especially been flying through snacks, but I am so grateful that we got shore time. For lunch, I had a cheeseburger with no vegetables ( I’m scared of them.) Oey got shrimp and said it was delicious! Brian waited over an hour to get his meal at the Sleepy Turtle.
Meanwhile, everyone else was served in 10 minutes. Izzy bought an ornament from a pottery store and said it was a family tradition to buy one every year. Mengmei bought two shirts that look amazing (low-key jelly.)
Sadly, we had to leave the island eventually. Although on the way back to the boat, Sophie was outraged that the mystery of the smiley face drawing on the cushions was solved, and it wasn’t anyone on Hope! Next, we sailed to an absolutely beautiful spot called Muskmellon Bay. Where we took ocean showers, and Oon thought her hair looked so good she didn’t want to get it wet. While everyone was busy trying to beat Sophia at a game called Speed, Breccan was in his cabin spraying a disinfectant spray he got on shore because he thought it smelled bad in there. Next, we ate rice tikka Masala for dinner with Mike. After this, we had a Quick dive chat where Emmy opened her journal for the first time. Then we all called it a night. Peace
