Location: Sidney's, Jost van Dyke
The staff of Aloha woke everyone up at 6 am. The chefs today were Sophie and Maddie. They prepared cereal for breakfast. Today was the hike up Mount Sage, the highest point in the BVI, which lasted four hours. Haley was the 8th person to reach the top. Maddie and Sophie were given the wrong directions and didn’t reach the top but did make it back ok. When you reached the top, you could sign your name and find out how many people made it before you. After everyone who made it to the top signed their name, almost all of them got a banana smoothie. After everyone got back from the hike, we had time to have lunch and shop around until we had to return to our boat. Before we set off from the harbor, there was a thunderstorm, and we saw amazing thunderbolts. On our way to a beach, we made anklets. The next event was to have a sand castle-building competition, but due to bad weather, it was canceled, so Elisabeth, George, Mateo, Ella, Eve, Madora, and Maddie went to the beach to have some fun. In the meantime, Jaden, Francisco, Sophie, and I stayed on the boat to get ready for tonight’s BBQ. Now everyone is dressed up, looking nice, and waiting to get on with the party.
