Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Waaa saaa duude, Welcome back to the midday chats (unfortunately not midnight). Today, we set sail to Salt Island around 7:00 am. Where we embarked on a very interesting journey across the great Pacific Ocean (we think?) Once we got to Salt Island, we had some breakie of oats with apples. Then, we set out on a hike to Isle de Sal. We were told ahead of time to avoid the tar like mud, However that did not go so well. When we got there, there was only one way, which was through the tar-like mud. It started by Anna trying to get a piggyback from Mia but that was bonkersssss. So Then Ruby and Anna embarked across the mud, which resulted in them both falling chest-deep in jet back tar( big UH-OH)😜. From here on, many tried to cross, though very few were successful. Except Axel who managed to get a piggy back from Lindsay, and Harrison also threw some people over his shoulder to get them across the tar damage free 💪. Then we walked the rest of the way up the mountain 🏔️.
Then, having to cross the tar again, where girl Ari (not boy Ari) fell victim to the mud, and Macie ended up breaking her “trusted” flip flops of many years 😪. After all of this we all got ready to dive a shipwreck. Gene gave us the entire backstory of the wreck; then we went diving. In the dive, we saw what was left of the sunken ship, which had many intriguing swim-throughs, many parrotfish 😏 and some very large lobsters. Unfortunately, there were no shark or apricot sightings🦈🍑. Some also say you could have seen the captain’s teaspoon in the wreck, but no teaspoons were spotted under the water today. We came back on the boat for lunch and had some mac and cheese 🍝🧀 and crumpets 🍪🐴. After lunch, we had some free time, and some of us went water skiing while the others stayed on the boat. Then we all came back and had dinner. Then got back in the water and went on our second night dive. When we got back, we had brownies, and now we’re about to go have our daily midnight chats.
