Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound

Today was another full day of adventure and fun. First, we woke up and had cereal and yogurt. Then we went on our third dive of the trip. It was a navigation dive where we worked with kick cycles and compasses. It was a bit difficult at first, but everyone got their skills done in the end. After that, we went back to the boat to watch “A Plastic Ocean” to learn about marine conservation. Once we finished with that, we split up, some doing knots and me and others doing watersports. I was in Tino’s boat with Coop and Lana for wakeboarding and kneeboarding. We went zipping around in Phoenix, and we were whooping and hollered. After that we returned to the Macks for knot tying with Jay; where we learned how to tie the bowlines, figure eight, cleat knot, and many others. When we finished with that, we went to the beach and windsurfed. We stayed there for a while and played king of the board, which they said was named after Mason, but he was cheating so I think Adam was the champ (at least today.) After that, we went back to our boat for dinner and dived talks. Finally, we got to sleep. Tomorrow is another half rotation day, and we’re going to port, so I hope the fun will continue for another full day 🙂
