Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

Hi everyone. Today, we woke up in Marina Cay. Our chefs, Yeya and Charlie, cooked us delicious pancakes for breakfast, and afterward, we started our sail to dive into The Chickuzin. During the long and rocky sail, we all relaxed and took naps either on the hardtop or the cockpit. Aria, Lila, and I started off sitting on the nets at the front of the boat, but we got splashed and eventually moved. Once we made it to the Chickuzin, we set up our gear, briefed, and then started our dive. This dive is a wreck of a ship that once served as a refrigerator vessel for the fishing industry. All throughout the wreck, we swam through schools of fish and jellyfish. I’ve never seen so many jellyfish together in one dive. We saw many other creatures, such as stingrays, lobster, pufferfish, and lionfish, and some even saw a shark. After this great dive, we started our sail to Muskmelon Bay.

Underway, we had lunch, reviewed the O2 manual and Rescue Chapter 5, and had a lecture. Once we arrived, we snorkeled the area we were going to be night diving and chatted with each other while the chefs made our dinner. After dinner, we got ready for our night dive. Yeya, Charlie, and I wore dresses for our dive. Liam, Lila, and Avi dove as a group and Aria, Charlie, Logan, River, Yeya, and I were a group. People saw sting rays, eels, lionfish, squid, crabs, and more. After our dive, we ate vanilla cake with chocolate frosting that Maeve made for us. Now, we are all on the blue lagoon talking before we go to bed.
