Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

Today, we woke up at seven and got a strong breakfast, for today was the first race day. Since I’m the skipper today, I went to a special meeting to discuss the race. I organized the positions Shawn-Helm/Girls-lazy jacks/MJ, Max, Dylan-sweaters/Mateo-tailor: pulled slack in/Miers-easer, skipper. We started off the race with all the boys letting out the jib, which was under 10 seconds. We had a great lead and blasted past the other boats. We maintained the lead for the whole race and won it at West End. We docked, had lunch, and walked around.

Then we got back to the boat and motored over to Willie T for a wreck dive. On the way, there were massive swells, and everyone was on the net in the front, which got us all wet and was so much fun. I didn’t go on it cause of my ear infection. This is Camila now. Six people went on this dive: Dylan, Emily, Lila, Camila, Shawn, Matt, and Matteo. This was one of my favorite dives, one because it was a wreck dive and two because it was a fun dive. I was in a group with Emily Lila, and Grace was our instructor. The wreck was a bar, and then a nonprofit turned it into a boat bar and sunk it for a dive site. All we did on the dive was swim through the swim-through, take pictures, and do cool tricks. Okay, now back to Miers. After the dive, we came here to Great Harbor Peter and had Mexican Night.
