Location: White Bay

We started the day with a 6:00 am breakfast of cereal. Although we were still jet lagged we began the day with a positive attitude and swim tests. After having the introductory speech from Mike, the director, we all got ready and charted our course to Peter’s Island. When we were on the way, we ate our deli sandwiches for lunch. Once in Peter’s Island, we had some free time for swimming around the boat, taking pictures, and getting to know one another. We started to set up our dive gear, got divided into groups and chose buddies for our checkout dive. There wasn’t much to see, but it was a chance for our instructor to test our skills and help us learn new things. We got back to the surface and got the time to fill out our diver’s log. We got our fresh water rinse and started to prepare for dinner. We ate Sloppy Joe’s, salad, and mashed potatoes. I decided that for the squeeze question it would be fun to see what was everyone’s craziest adventure. There were answers that were cool: like spending a month in Ecuador, going to the tip of Chile for a backpacking trip, or going to Kenya on missions. To end the day we are going to go hang out with the people from the other boats and have a scuba chat.
