Location: The Dogs

Today we woke up in Mountain Point to a beautiful sunrise. For breakfast, we all shared cereal and were ecstatic to eat lucky charms. After our dishy pit, we moved the boat to our dive site, which was right next to a rocky cliff. While other boats dived off of Amused, we learned how to make Turks Heads bracelets and anklets, and Davis fascinated us with a reading from our new favorite book, The Cheat Sheet. Zoë, Alta, Ana, and I made friendship bracelets on the hardtop and made friends with MaryLee. Fifty-five pages into the book, we took a break to eat a lunch of Mac and cheese prepared by Zoë and Julian. We then prepared for our navigation dive, which seemed to be a difficult task for some of us. 😬 I was partnered with Myles, and we practiced using a compass and kick cycles to measure direction. Some other groups had a more creative approach, like getting lost using the compass (AKA Carlo and Zoë). When we had to unexpectedly come to the surface, Carlo lightened the mood with a knock-knock joke,

“Knock knock,”-Carlo

“Who’s there”- Mackenzie

“Not us” – Carlo
(Carlo made me put this in)
(Mackenzie was not amused)

After this funny interaction, we descended back down and finished our navigation successfully. Asa practiced blowing bubbles, and Sophie, Maya, Riley, and I competed in underwater rock paper scissors. After our dive, we motored over to Marina Cay, ate tortellini, and took an amazing sunset ocean shower. Now, Lily is pitching us her prank idea, and Zoë and I are doing our dive chapters and writing this blog. Now we are preparing for our great sleep and exciting day tomorrow!🪼😂✌️🐱🐱💕
