Day 5 – Die Hugjeug (The Aircraft)

Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

Day 5 did not disappoint in comparison with the last for. Although it lacked a night dive, the two daytime dives made up for it. The trench dive had a plenty variety of fish and other species, such as eels and shrimp. There were more than enough to complete our specialty requirements; searching for fish species, and locating vertebrates and their spineless counterparts. The second dive had a main show of a sunken aircraft. Lacking wings and a tail, this “Hugjeug” was home to a coral “city”. We swan through the fuselage, which was surprisingly empty. Afterwards, there were greetings from shrimp, hermit crabs and a barracuda, Overall, diese Tag war wunderbar!
