Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

This morning, we woke up off the coast of Virgin Gorda, ready for our first rotation day. Today, we had our first diving session, where we reviewed our open-water skills. The boat was split into groups of 3 and 4. Shortly after, we had a paddle boarding rotation on another boat, and we played an Olympic game. Group number four won, which had Andrew, Thea, and Lyla, with Andrew B and Jack close in second. Then, all of us took a dinghy to our boat to have lunch. Shortly after, we went to a boat to tie some knots but ended up getting into a sunscreen war, and we swam off of the boat. When the time was up for that rotation, we went to another boat, where we waited to wakeboard and kneeboard with Captain Drippy Dreads (Meow or Never’s Captain Melaku). Both Andrew wakeboarded, and Caroline and Thea knee-boarded, while Greyson tried to get up while waterskiing with one ski. Then, we headed back to our boat and showered. Afterward, Emilia and Thea made my favorite dinner so far on the trip: chili and rice. After, we all packed into the kitchen to do a lifeworks chat. This consisted of life lessons and questioning how our energy and enthusiasm impact our lives and other people’s lives. Corn and Chase contributed the most to the talks that we had.
