Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today was our first day of sailing on the Bella. Before we set sail, we had a good breakfast of scrambled eggs and muffins. With open minds and full stomachs, we finally were on our way. We set sail at about 9 am toward our destination of Virgin Gorda. On our way, we learned different techniques like tacking and jibing. These techniques and teamwork by all the crew members made the trip possible. Once we arrived, we almost immediately jumped in the crystal clear water. After a fun swim, we learned about our scuba equipment. We all had to take apart and set up our equipment. We all had to take apart and set up our equipment. Shortly after, our crew prepared a glorious meal of cheesy Alfredo pasta, after cleanup, we dove into a lengthy, yet educational dive chat to prepare us for our first dive tomorrow.
