Day 17- First Race Day

Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

Today we started off the day early with a skipper’s meeting on our boat. We talked about the race that we were going to compete in later that morning. We then headed to the starting line and began. In the first race we finished 1st in our class and 4th overall. We then had three hours of shore time on West End. After this, we headed over to the starting line of the second race. We sailed from West End to Peter Island. It was a two-hour race and we finished first in our class and third overall. Then we finished out the day with Mexican night. We ended the night early so that we can have another full day tomorrow!
