Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

Today was the first hay where it really sunk in that the trip was coming to a close. Everyone got over and homesickness and is trying to make the most of the remaining trip. We started the day with a dive at “the playgrounds” dive site. It is called the playground because there is a high amount of aquatic life “playing” there: sharks, octopi, sea turtles, and spotted eagle rays were all spotted today. After lunch, we dove the playgrounds again and even more rare animals were spotted. The dolphins started working on their research papers today while the Neptune’s went to the beach. Both activities were completed with equal levels of enjoyment. After this, everyone took showers and gathered for a delicious dinner of franks and beans. Everyone is having a great time and I can’t believe it’s ending so soon!
