Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

We spent the morning sailing from Sydney’s in Jost Van Dyke to Sandy Spit Cay. A few people stayed on the bow jumping with the waves, which was lots of fun. Then we arrived in the choppy waters of a dive site known for a sighting of rays, sharks, and barracuda. On Neptune’s dive, we saw 20 barracuda, schools of Sargent majors, and a spotted eagle ray. Alex got some awesome GoPro footage of the ray that we all watched. The Neptune’s omitted the second dive of the day to go to the beach for a few hours. Everyone had to navy seal roll into the water then swim to the beach. After the beach, we went back to the boat to hand out and wait for a dinner of cornbread and beans and rice, which were fantastic. Tonight we have a Lifeworks forum on Spindrift.
