Location: Marina Cay

Hi, this is Alden. Today we woke up bright and early in GHP and then immediately did a short sail over to the wreck dive site, The Fearless. But right before we left, we realized that WE RAN OUT OF WATER ON THE ENTIRE BOAT. And to make matters worse, we didn’t get water back for hours, which led to many headaches and a bit of torture. As soon as we arrived, we set up our gear very quickly, but had a major mishap: WE DROPPED THE SKIPPER CAMERA INTO THE OCEAN AND IT WAS NEVER FOUND AGAIN. After that very tragic error, we sank down 75 feet for a little over 30 minutes to explore the very beautiful wreck. We saw a barracuda, two lion fish, lots of coral, and way fewer jellyfish thon in previous days. After our amazing dive, we were the only dive site boat to sail over to Road Town for lunch, shopping, and finally filling up on water. Once we were all fueled up in Road Town, Baba Jaga sailed 3 hours over to Marina Cay. As Rome, Finn, and Lindsay navigated, the entire boat took a much-needed nap on the top of the deck and the stern. And I can confirm NOBODY got burnt during nap time. Once we arrived in Marina Cay, our chefs Stormy and Caitlin prepared tortellini for dinner, while Maeve and Finn made a surprise cake for Lindsay’s half-birthday. After dinner, we surprised Lindsay with a card, cake, and singing of “Happy Half-Birthday”. And as I am writing this, Gillian, Sam, Jovian, Rome, and Finn are currently on dishie pit duty and preparing for our hour-long motivation recording about appreciating the non-material things in life. Hopefully, we all take the message to heart and use it for the better. I also hope we can all get a good dry sleep tonight. Good night, every, and we all miss you so much!
