Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today was the boat Olympics. All the staff had to wake up early to get us there, and so did a few students, but everyone got to go back to bed. After that sail was finished, Ainsley and Lucas, with a little help from Mackenzie, made us a delicious breakfast of French toast, and we finally got to break out the Nutella, which we quickly figured out Marlowe had been dipping into. After that, we finished up the dishes pit and played a game called rattlin’ bog to make sure that everyone had enough water to drink before we headed to the Olympics. Once we got to the beach, we had to do a wet entry, and I have to say Sophie, Max, and Cora had some pretty spectacular entries. We started the Olympics with a tug of war, me as the anchor and Quin as the person at the front after that, we had the fender rodeo, which is where you have to balance on a fender. Asha went first for that, and then Lily was supposed to go, but Lucas wanted to, so he went, and they both came in first. Our next event was paddle board balance fighting with noodles, and we came in third for that. Once that was over, we weren’t able to do some of our other events, so we just swam and hung out. Some of us were doing extra paddle board fighting, with Enya and Kiara going extra hard for that. After we went on our sail to Vixen Point, we did some sail chat and then arrived at Vixen Point, where we had veggie burgers and beans for dinner. Now we’re cleaning up and getting ready for a dive chat.
