Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
This morning we were lucky enough to be granted the opportunity to sleep in late. Madeleine and I woke up with the sun blaring in through the windows. Listening to music once again, Amelia and Milo made some delectable pancakes that we all feasted on while the staff went to their meeting. Once they got back, we got ready to sail to Brewers Bay BY OURSELVES (sort of). Kiki, August, and I hoisted up the sail while Milo was giving directions at the helm. Anika finished cranking up the sail with the most determination. During this period, the divemasters had a study sesh with a side of a dance party. The jib went up, and we were high-key flying through the waves with 9 knots.
When we got to our destination, we stopped to eat chicken salad. I ate a whole pineapple I bought on land. After lunch, Ruby sailed to Sandy Spit Beach, which looked exactly like Bikini Bottom from SpongeBob. The DMCs went on a fun dive where Amelia, Ty, Scott, and Alexis saw many fish and coral. Alexis saw her favorite animal, a Trumpet fish. The rest of us chilled out on the boat and listened to August’s Puerto Rican party music. Then we proceeded to get on the dingy to take a quick trip to Hagen Time for a boom swing. We all tried to do flips by sticking the rope in between our toes and pushing ourselves off. Micah was the only one who successfully did it. We came back home and got ready to hang out on the beach. We saw many fairy pools with so many hidden gems. These gems included sea slugs, hermit crabs, and many pretty seashells. The rocks were a tad bit slimy, though, and Kiki took a tumble. She’s okay, don’t fret. We got stuck on island time, and it was dinner time. We quickly took showers before our weenie and bean dinner. We talked about life and whatnot, and now we are going to sleep—goodnight from Graytful.
P.S I luv and miss y’all, Baldy and mom
