Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
We woke up at 7:30 to eat cereal with cantaloupe. We motored to the Chimneys early to go dive. On the way, Lanie and I drove the boat while others finished eating and made friendship bracelets. We saw a huge sting ray while we dove into the Chimneys that were buried under the sand. I genuinely think it was about the same size, if not larger, than me. The Chimneys dive is basically a small cave, and you end up going through this small space that you can fit through just perfectly, and it’s really cool. After the dive, we headed over to the Shark Planes to do a navigation dive. Gabi and I didn’t tie our scuba bags to the boat, so Ri hid them and made us think we lost them. He made us dive with the shame chicken (that we stole from Good Times) because we forgot to tie them up. While we were at the Shark Planes diving, Shane, Lilly, Gabi, and I took pictures on the planes. After we dove, Gabi and Shane made ramen for lunch while we were under way to go to Mountain Point. On the way, many of the girls sat upstairs and slept while Asa, Logan, and I played chess. Once we got here, we watched a super long video on the emergency first response. We then showered and made veggie burgers to eat for dinner. For squeeze, I made Ri explain his tattoos to us since the first time I asked. He didn’t 🥲.
