River here once again, no rap this time around just a normal blog sadly. It’s crazy to think that tomorrow is our last full day in the BVI’s. However, today was a great day. We started off the day with our last pancake breakfast cheffed by our very own Skyler, they were quite yummy. After filling up on pancakes we departed our monster-raft and prepared to head to the capital of Tortola, Road Town, to refuel and grab lunch. Once at Road Town, Mackenzie, Fin, Adrien, Sky, and myself went to a nearby restaurant and ate, pasta, wings, salad, and burgers. We then left to explore a hot and humid Road Town. Our activities in Road Town included, grocery shopping, calling friends and family, and a lot of mindless exploring. We soaked up the last of our phone time while a Moorings worker helped refuel our boat, and shortly after, we left the dock to motor to The Bite, our first destination where we snorkeled on day 2. A bit of a full circle moment for the group. Once we arrived, we promptly jumped in the water for our final ocean shower! Adrien, Fin, Sky, and myself all hopped on the dinghy to do some final flips. After showering, our staff departed to a meeting, while Ani and Sky cooked cheddar broccoli pasta and cheese biscuits. We ended dinner with a guilty pleasure squeeze question and a breathtaking sunset and now we are getting ready to write our cards to each other, this is personally one of my favorite things from the trip, it’s always great to look back on the memories we have made and the people we made them with.
