Day 9 of being on the best boat with the best people! We started our morning with some bagels and yogurt, which were so yummy. We then started the rotations for the day with the vega girls (Aggie, Alli, Lily, and Julliette) going for a short hike on the island, where we saw a bunch of hermit crabs and a snake. Wylie, Jaden, Alex, and Hayden did some diving skills with Mackenzie. Lila, Tyler, and Avi helped assist the advanced open waters in leading a dive off the mooring balls from mt point Reef, and Avi and Tyler saw an eel and a trumpet fish. After the vega girls’ hike, we went over to Glad 2 Be Here, and Lily jumped from the boom swing and attempted to do a backflip off it. We then went over to Nomada and took a big fat nap. As we were fast asleep, Tyler, Wylie, Avi, and Lila were making tank runs, and Lila and Avi were able to get some of Annika’s dinghy school stickers. Once we were all back home, we had the best grilled cheese sandwiches. After lunch, we, the vega girls, got to spend a bit more time with Alex, and he helped us with our last and final confined water dive. Lila, Tyler, Avi, Hayden, Jaden, and Wylie assisted the other open water divers with their last confined water dive. As they were helping the open waters, the Vega girls went to Oryx and had the best paddleboard relay with the teams being Ayden, Lily, and Alli against Aggie, Lucy, and Jack (Nomada students). Ayden, Lily, and Alli won with a questionable but deserved victory. We then relaxed a bit at Oryx, and finally came back home to have dinner, which was Mexican night!! Made by Mackenzie, Hayden, and Jayden, we all devoured the meal. We are all excited for our s’mores tonight to celebrate our Olympic Day victory.
GO NACHOO!
