Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound

Today was a great day. We woke up and had eggs for breakfast next to two other boats. It was a rotation day, so we skiied and wakeboarded. Windsurfing was very efficient (haha). I loved it because Craig followed us on another boat and showed the instructions we had to do so we could tack and find the wind. After that we had lunch and everyone was so hungry and excited about the grilled cheese sandwiches. We did some diving of course in different groups and us Carinas practiced navigation by using our compasses. The other guys went snorkeling over some mangroves and it must have been fun too. It was funny to see the instructors race on the Picos and our diving instructor Matt coming in last. We then sailed to a mooring ball and left the beach, it wasn’t hard but I hadn’t done it before so I had to get it upwind, which was a bit tricky. Throughout the day the weather was pretty good, there was a bright sun all day. Before having dinner we had to do some cleanup and wash the heads and the deck. I think the best part of the day was dinner because Mike ate along with us (caesar salad… yum). We played a game where we had to choose postcards that reminded us of what we like and what we don’t like about ourselves. Everyone shared important things about themselves and that’s always nice to hear. Now we are just hanging out on the boat.
