Pure Joy 4

Today was the final day on PJ4 (Pure Joy 4). We all started the day by being woken up by the song September- me (Rylan) and Lila woke up at the same time because of it. Then everyone slowly went to the deck for breakfast, where chefs Gabby and Eliza were preparing breakfast. After breakfast, Steph was explaining what we would be doing for our final day. She explained to us that if we did boat appreciation very well, we would have land time and a LAND SHOWER YAY. Then we started with a three-hour sail to a spot where we would do our final swim and snorkel, which was very fun. There were so many jellyfish, which were spotted by Emma and Eliza. Hayden and Fredrick tried to touch the bottom, but their ears hurt too much. A lot of people swam to the beach and saw a whole school full of jellyfish, including baby ones.

Charlotte and Charlie also found a spoon, which probably was ours since we dropped it a couple of days earlier. After we finished snorkeling, we had lunch, which was some leftover curry from yesterday and deli sandwiches. Izzy got Nutella all over her face while trying to get the Nutella out; it was so funny. After lunch, we packed and did a boat appreciation where you clean all of the boat. During that, I (Rylan) got soaked with water because Hayden poured a bucket of water right where I was! Anyways, after everything was finished, we motored to town so we could get food and have our showers. When we got there, I, Lila, Emma, Gabby, Maddox, Eliza, and Izzy all went to the cafe where we got delicious food and drinks. After that, I took the best shower of my life after nine days of a boat shower. I don't think I've ever felt so happy and clean in my life. Then I met up with Emma, Lila, and Madison, and we got non-alcoholic piña coladas, which were so delicious! But we had to be back on the boat soon, so we walked over and waited for dinner to start. Tonight's dinner was a Thanksgiving dinner, which was really good. My question for everyone today was, "What was everyone's favorite inside joke of the trip?" which really got me thinking of how much I im gonna miss everyone on this boat. Tonight we had a crumb cake party, which was so fun, and we did secret confessions; then we auctioned off parts of the flag, where Charlie bought a part of the flag for 300 dollars! And everyone got to sign each other's. Tonight everyone is going to try to pull an all nighter to watch the sun rise, I don't know if i can do it but I wanna try. I still can't believe im going home tomorrow. I've created so many memories that will last a lifetime on this trip and made amazing friends. This is Rylan from PJ4 signing out ✌️
