Bellatrix

Today we got to sleep in until 8 (which was a big improvement from 6:45) and had pancakes for breakfast. Then we started sailing. We went to the beach where the boat Olympics were. Claire, Lindsay, and Ryann brought colorful zinc and glitter and gave Joey a beautiful makeover. He had colors all over his face (including his hair). Everyone put on zinc, and we were the best-dressed boat, if I do say so myself. When we got to the beach, we took a bunch of group photos and then started the challenges. We got 3rd place in the relay race, and Mae and Felipe competed in a balancing rodeo game on top of a fender. The last game was tug of war, and we lost both rounds, but it’s okay because we won in spirit. Angie, Noah, and Reghan made friends with other boats. Once we got back to the boat, we saw Campbell, Anna, Lindsay, Reghan, Claire, and Ryann with 4 gigantic cans of frosting open, just eating spoonfuls at a time, with a small break for Cheez-Its and airheads in between. The perfect post-champion meal! After we finished our food, we started a sail with the rest of our sailside fleet to a new spot. MK even saw a school of fish under our boat trampoline during our sail. Once we were back at Mountain Point, we started our final ocean shower. We all listened to Dead Sea by the Lumineers and were sad about how we would have to leave soon. Once we all dried off and got into pajamas, the ActionQuest director, Mike, joined us for dinner. We ate risotto and chicken Caesar salad while getting a geography lesson from Mike. We are now cleaning up and look forward to hopefully baking and making cute anklets!
