Hagan Time

Aye aye aye, welcome back. It's Kate again. I've written six blogs this summer. You're only supposed to write two in a session. Ok, so anyways, we started off slightly later at 8 am on purpose. We woke up to Chase and my favorite song, Roundtripski by Lucki. This song, because I haven't talked about it yet, is one of the greatest songs ever. Anytime I'm in my feels on the boat or feeling lazy and Annika puts it on, the vibes immediately go up. Sometimes she says she will put it on as a reward and we lock in for it. Every time I chef with Chase, I ask her to play it.

Ok, so anyways we had a great breakfast of pancakes. We had Nutella and peanut butter on them, and it was amazing. Then we had an amazing sail review and took 2 tests, and I was low-key stressin', but then I passed both of them, and it was amazing, and so did everyone else. After the sail chat and two tests, including one for the VHF, we sailed to Road Town. We all got shore time. Ava and Ellis ate at the restaurant while Zoe and I went to the pharmacy and got Gatorade and Twix bars. Chase and Mateo ate at a different restaurant across town. Then Zoe and I went to the main restaurant and I asked the lady how long it would take (quick intermission- this restaurant is known for taking like an hour or more for food to come especially when there's like 30 action quest kids there) and the lady said hold on, asked me what I wanted, and then brought it back in 2 minutes and I was like omg and I was so happy. She just ended up taking it already made from the chefs and giving it to me instead of another random kid. Then we went back to the boat and sailed to the bight. We got our phones after. We were super happy, and then Annika and Ian left to go to a meeting with Mike on Mike's boat. We decided to prank them by taking off the doors and hiding the utensils. They got back and were happy. Sike. We decided to lock in, fix everything, and make the cheddar broccoli pasta for dinner. Then we squeezed, and since I'm skipper, my question was what was your appreciation for the whole trip, and mine was the surfing and the dive in Saba because we saw a super cool ten-foot shark. Now we are cleaning up super well, showering, and then we have one final test tonight, which I think is like doing seven knots and some more VHF stuff. We are resting up and going to bed early because we have a sail race, barbecue, man overboard drills, and boat appreciation (which, if u don't know, is like 6 hours of scrubbing every inch on the boat) and a sail tomorrow, so we need lots of sleep for our big day. Tonight was our last squeeze since tomorrow is the barbecue, so everybody, I hope y'all parents enjoyed my question haha ok bye.
