I ❤️ MALAGA
Location: Malaga
Hey, it's Ella!
We started our day this morning on a very empty, quiet boat before the arrival of our new friends. This morning for breakfast, we had leftover cake from last night (yesterday we ventured to a grocery store in search of steak for our fancy dinner back on the boat. Logan cooked the steak, Avery made mashed potatoes, Ella made a delicious chocolate cake, and Brig cooked some peas and was kind enough to supply a refreshing Coke drink.
After our nutritious breakfast, we did a final cleanup and went to the beach! Once we got to the beach, Avery and Logan quickly jumped into the water while Brig and Ella straggled behind because it was so cold. After we finished swimming, Brig chased a pigeon around the beach, and then we went to get doughnuts. We got six flavors and had a mini doughnut taste test party! Then some of our new friends began to arrive, and they helped us with passage prep on Argo since we are leaving tomorrow for Mallorca.
Handing it over to Gabe and Rina for this next part!
When the rest of the campers arrived, we all gathered for a late lunch. After that, we sat on the deck and played card games! We had wraps and lots of goldfish! Then, when the second airport group made it to Argo. We ate pesto pasta with green beans for dinner that Avery, Brig, and Ella kindly cooked for us. It was delicious!! We ended the day with the customary squeeze tradition, where we presented ourselves to the group. Then we were introduced to the job wheel. We learned what our responsibilities were for each night and carried out the first day's worth! The staff then walked us through the boat and showed us a few things about the charthouse, the deck, the heads, and the galley. Now we are settling into our first night onboard by unpacking, dock watch, and getting to know each other.
