Race Day and America Day!
Location: West End, Tortola
Hey Parents,
We started off the day with a 6:30 wake-up. We had oatmeal and cereal for breakfast. Then Davis and I went to the skipper meeting to hear about our starting position and our race route. We started sailing from the Bight in the sixth position. Our boat sailed around a buoy next to Road Town and ended the race in Great Harbor Peter. We won the race for catamarans and got fourth overall. We beat two monohulls at the last second. Then we started packing our bags and cleaned the boat. We got pizza from Pussers for lunch. Then we motored to West End and had phone time and some shore time. Finally, we had a July Fourth BBQ and ate burgers, hotdogs, and chicken. Then we went back to the boat, and we went to sleep.
