The End
Location: West End, Tortola
Today we woke up to our ocean view one last time. We started off the morning with a sandy dive where we were able to have underwater races, do handstands, and play some fun games. It was our last dive of the trip, so it was pretty bittersweet afterward. Once everyone was back on board, we headed towards West End to dock the boat one last time. We also began to do a full boat appreciation day where we deep cleaned the boat for inspection.
After we got a passing grade from the inspector, we headed to shore to grab a quick smoothie before a FRESHWATER SHOWER!!! We all are coming home nice and clean, so no need to worry mom and dad. After the wonderful shower, we all got dolled up for our first and last evening BBQ with the whole fleet. All the boats were able to gather together thanks to a special pardon from the government down here in the BVIs. This was an amazing chance to meet new people from other boats.
With our bellies full, we headed back to the boat to hang out with everyone. We’re sitting under the stars now, talking about how much we are going to miss this amazing place and boat. The way this boat has bonded together and made such a little family is truly amazing. It feels like we should still have so much time together. I can truly say that I’m going to miss all my new friends as soon as I leave. We are all so grateful for this experience and are trying to savor what little is left. Tomorrow morning is going to be tough, but hopefully, it will just be a “See you later” instead of a goodbye. Love you goobers.
